As an IT services company based in Nuremberg, we have been supporting businesses since 2019 with software architecture, Angular and the use of AI in development, whether as an extension of their team or as a strategic guide. Alongside that, we build Thymian, our open-source tool that checks APIs against HTTP standards.

So far, we have done marketing and sales on the side of our project work. We want to change that. You get real responsibility and work directly with the management team.

Your tasks

  • You turn our engineers’ knowledge into LinkedIn posts for qupaya and Thymian, from the first idea to publication.
  • You write and maintain content for our website and work with us to create meaningful case studies.
  • You research companies that fit our offering and build target account lists from them.
  • You reach out to potential clients via LinkedIn and email, in coordination with the management team, and prepare first meetings.
  • You create one-pagers, presentations and proposal materials.
  • You maintain our contacts, analyze what works, and use AI tools to automate what repeats.

What you bring

  • Ideally, you are enrolled at a university, studying marketing, sales or a comparable field.
  • You are interested in software and technology. You don’t need to code, but you want to understand what a development team needs.
  • You enjoy writing, and you are good at it.
  • You approach people openly, including those you don’t know yet.
  • You organize yourself and enjoy working remotely.
  • You speak German at C1 level for working with our German-speaking clients, and you have very good English for our international team, the blog and the community.

Nice to have

  • First hands-on experience in marketing, sales, social media, journalism or events
  • Experience with LinkedIn, Sales Navigator or a CRM
  • Canva, Figma or video editing
  • No fear of Markdown and Git
  • Eagerness to automate workflows with AI tools
  • Ideally, you have at least one more year of studies ahead of you, since the position is initially planned for twelve months.

You don’t need to bring everything. We’ll show you what you need to get started.

What we offer

  • €17 gross per hour
  • Remote anywhere in Germany. You plan your hours around lectures and exams yourself. We meet in our virtual office in Gather Town.
  • Real responsibility from day one and a dedicated contact person from the management team.
  • Conferences and meetups: you join, we cover the costs.
  • A MacBook and access to our AI tools.
  • 20 days of vacation based on a five-day week, prorated for fewer working days.
  • Team events, Corporate Benefits, an Epassi sports membership and our own health app.

How to apply

  • Send your CV to careers@qupaya.com.
  • You don’t need a cover letter. Instead, briefly answer three questions:
    1. Why are marketing and sales for an IT services company appealing to you?
    2. When can you start, and how many hours per week can you work?
    3. How much longer do you expect to be studying?

If you have already written or designed something, like a post, an article or a project, feel free to send us a link. It’s not a requirement.

What happens next

  1. An introductory call of 30 minutes with HR.
  2. A conversation with the management team. We take one of our blog articles and think through together how to turn it into a LinkedIn post.
  3. You meet the team.
