For whom we are looking for

Our company is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Engineer experienced with Angular and NestJS to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience working with Angular, NestJS, or NodeJS. Experience with nx mono repositories and toolings is a tip.

Since you will work with your qupaya colleagues, close to the customers in the German-speaking area, a primary residence CET -/+ two hours is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-quality Angular applications and NestJS APIs.
Ensure high quality by implementing best practices, writing unit-, and e2e tests (we love Jest, Cypress, and Playwright).
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features.
Work with product owners, designers, and developers to deliver a compelling user experience.
Participate in code reviews and deployment activities to ensure code quality and maintainability.
Mentor junior and trainee developers and guide them in implementing best practices and coding standards.
Continuously improve the development process by identifying and resolving inefficiencies and bottlenecks.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
At least three years of professional experience in Angular and NestJS or NodeJS development
Solid expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience developing scalable and maintainable web applications
Experience with front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
Proficiency with Git version control system
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills
Experience with Agile development methodologies and practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred

Experience with nx mono repositories and toolings
Experience with NestJS
Experience with REST/CRUD or GraphQL
Experience with CI/CD and cloud platforms
Experience with agile development methodologies
Familiarity with responsive design techniques
Advanced skills in German (written and spoken)
